Fairy Tale Carnival ~ September 3rd, 2012

A FAIRYTALE CARNIVAL
FOR WEST ISLAND COMMUNITY SHARES

On Labour Day Monday, September 3rd 2012, Princess Stephanie and Friends will host a Fairytale Carnival to benefit West Island Community Shares. The event will be held at the Enchanted Castle located at 76A Brunswick, in Dollard des Ormeaux between 1 to 4pm. Families will be asked for a 5$ per child donation and will enjoy tons of exciting activities. A tea party with a princess, diva hair styling, face painting, discovering the adventures of a long lost pirate on a real pirate ship are just some examples!

West Island Community Shares raises crucial funds for local community groups that deliver essential services to over 38,000 residents in need. All funds raised go right back into the community. For the last seven years Princess Stephanie has been giving back to charitable causes. The Enchanted Castle has been fortunate to call the West Island home since 2011 and wishes to thanks the community for their continuous support.

In addition to Princess Stephanie & Friends, other sponsors that are making this day possible are Carissima Mobile Spa, Fine Line Serpents, Lulu the Clown, Les Gonflables Experts, Sophia’s Hairdressing Academy, and special thank you to 92.5 The Beat, Le Petit Gym Pointe-Claire and Vaudreuil, Club Mansfield, Les Delices Lafrenaie, The Mummieslist, 4cats Art Studio, and Kreative Memories Photography for their generous raffle prize donations.

Welcome to the world of Princess Birthday Parties! From home parties to events hosted at our Enchanted Castle!

Princess Stephanie
It all started with a dream.... that originated in the mind of Stephanie Kannage, and ask anyone that knows her, she is a REAL princess. Having been on dozens of family vacations to  Disney (Cruises, Land, World)  one of the greatest times in her life was working at Walt Disney World.

Upon her return home from Florida, Stephanie continued to collect princess memorabilia and even started doing princess parties for friends and family. In 2005 and 2006 her side business got quite busy, almost exclusively through referrals. The following spring she took out and ad in a local family newspaper (Montreal Families) and the phone started ringing off the hook. A unique idea, that kids in Montreal couldn't get enough of. In the winter of 2007, while still working full time, Stephanie met a coworker that also had a great love of children and princesses.

Princess Vanessa would be the first princess on board. Two princesses and two costume boxes, on the road, the concept was very simple. Some weekends they would each have eight parties. The demand got so great that Princess Stephanie left her corporate gig to be a full time princess... and later in 2008, a mom. Captain Morgan, who at the time was a professional acting student came on board, and helped shape the pirate party concept. Many princesses came and went, more themes were added, and many more entertainers.

In 2010, her big dream of owning a castle came true, when Princess Stephanie opened a 6000 sqf facility in the West Island of Montreal. The party space has three themed rooms, princess, diva and pirate, as well as adjacent parents areas and a full boutique. Three weeks after the official opening, the Princess gave birth to their second son. Along with the support of her partner a professional chef, and a solid loyal staff, the castle has become a full serviced party facility in Dollard-Des-Ormeaux, Quebec.
